Patients selected by a lottery system and will only accept 40 patients maximum. Any who are not chosen may wish to look at their local dental clinics on Opencare or elsewhere to see if they can get an appointment, especially if the need is urgent. Clinic is held on Wednesdays from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm. Do not arrive to the clinic before 5:15 pm or later than 5:45 pm. Those with an urgent need call UNC Dental School Urgent Care at (919) 537-3737 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Modest fee charged. Less urgent questions can be searched for online, such as whether 3D Whitestrips are the best for a home whitening job.

Durham

No cost for qualifying patients. Patients cannot have any private or employer-provided dental insurance and must be ineligible for Medicaid. Clinic treats children 4-17 and uninsured adults. Clinic states patients seen on Tuesdays from 6-9 pm. Patients must arrive no later than 6:00 pm.

Clinic will only provide acute care services for patients who live outside the city of Durham, Alamance County, Chatham County, Orange County, and Wake County.
