SCF Semi Singers Challenge to Benefit Drivers

Do you want to make a difference in the life of a driver and get the chance to sing with Bill Weaver at Mid-America Truck Show?  All you have to do is donate, sing and post it to Facebook.

Recently, Bill Weaver reached out to St. Christopher Fund offering to partner with us and has graciously offered his time and energy to assist in furthering the SCF mission of helping drivers who have a financial difficulty due to a medical problem. After some brainstorming, SCF Executive Director, Donna Kennedy, had the idea to have a Facebook singing competition and the SCF Semi Singers Challenge was created.

Here’s how the challenge works: First – make a donation to the St. Christopher Truckers Fund through the website, truckersfund.org. Second – record a video singing a fun upbeat song (doesn’t have to be the whole song) and post the video to your Facebook page and tag St. Christopher Truckers Fund.  Be sure to include the hashtag #SCFSemiSingers. Last step – challenge 3-5 others to do the same thing by calling their name in the video AND tagging them in the Facebook post.

Later, the St. Christopher Fund and Bill Weaver will pick the top 5 favorite videos and will  have open voting for a winner.  The video with the most likes will win the chance to sing with Bill at the Mid-America Truck Show!

You can get your spouse, family, friends or company to do it with you!  Have fun with this!
