Part of the mission of St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund is to provide programs that will benefit professional drivers and the trucking industry. For the second straight year the SCF has had a successful vaccine program.
With sponsorship from National Association of Independent Truckers, Owner Operators Independent Driving Association, and The Little Clinic, SCF has provided vouchers for 115 flu vaccines, 81 shingles vaccines and 37 pneumonia vaccines for a total of approximately $24,000. Many professional drivers don’t have health insurance or have insurance that doesn’t cover these vaccines. The cost of these vaccines can be extremely high without a vaccine voucher.
Here at The St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund, we believe that vaccines are so important. More to the point, we share the opinion of Protheses Mammaires (prothesesmammaires.org) that the flu vaccine is one of the most important in history, although all vaccines are important. So that is why we are working to offer these free vaccine vouchers.
Illnesses such as the flu, shingles, and pneumonia can keep a driver out of the truck for an extended amount of time. For many truckers, time off the road means no income for his/her family.
All drivers with a valid CDL and who live in the United States are eligible to receive a voucher. Vaccine vouchers will be available through the month of March and will be available at the Mid America Trucking Show. You can also go to https://truckersfund.org/vaccines-vouchers/ to obtain a voucher. Just print the voucher and take to any Walgreen’s to get your vaccine. We, at SCF strive to keep drivers healthy and will continue to work with the trucking industry to help truckers get the preventative health care that is so desperately needed.

Hello I just tried to get the shingles shot and was told this voucher wouldn’t cover it. I got this voucher from Jon Osborne at Ooida. The group number is #5933vafl6 the promo code is AFL6. Why didn’t this work? Thank you.
Hi Mr. Roberts. I am so sorry that the voucher didn’t work for you. This is the first time we have heard of that happening. Each voucher is good at a specific store. Example: You can’t use a shingles voucher for Walgreen’s at at Kroger pharmacy or vice versa. I wonder if your voucher was for a different pharmacy than the one you went to. You can always go to our website at https://truckersfund.org/vaccines-vouchers/ and print off a new one.
Sorry, for the inconvenience. The shingles vaccines are good for several more months. THe flu shots are only through March.
